Since 1988 she has provided management, capacity building services, facilitation, training and coaching to individuals and all sizes and types of nonprofit organizations, public agencies and social benefit oriented for-profit companies.
Janet is a passionate educator and mentor.
Janet is committed to passing on knowledge, skills and motivation to the next generation’s leaders. She has served on the faculty for University of Washington’s (UW) Fundraising Management Certificate program for over two decades, for the UW Nonprofit Management Certificate program and for Seattle University’s (SU) Master of Nonprofit Leadership. Janet directed and taught for Seattle Central Community College’s Arts Management program. As a mentor, Janet helps young leaders as they navigate the nonprofit professional world as well as for-profit professionals who are curious about the nonprofit landscape. She continues to work with the UW Cascade Center and the Masters off Public Affiars/Evans School on special assignments.
